If you use paid features (now or in the future), payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

We use information to provide, operate, and improve StartupVCMatch, including to:

• process uploaded decks and generate investor matching outputs;
• authenticate users and manage accounts;
• save runs/history and enable product features you use;
• respond to support requests and feedback;
• monitor reliability, performance, and abuse prevention;
• analyze usage trends to improve UX and product quality;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Where applicable, we process personal data on the basis of contract performance (to provide the service you requested), legitimate interests (such as security, analytics, and product improvement), consent (where required, including certain cookie/marketing uses), and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf to operate the platform, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, authentication, email delivery, and support tooling providers.

Uploaded content and run history may remain associated with your account until deleted by you or us, subject to backup and legal retention constraints.
